OnePlus 8T launch date.
OnePlus have officially announced it's going to be the 14th of october and this is going to be a global online event there is however going to be a separate online only event held in beijing and this is of course in china for the chinese-only launch event and this will be the 15th of october
Charging
Next up we've got confirmation of an incredible 65 watt warp charge to make its debut on the OnePlus 8T. Now we already had rumors that this was coming but pete lau the CEO of OnePlus has made a statement that said charging should be quick and simple to help make your digital life as burdenless as possible he added with oneplus they focus on delivering a fast and smooth flagship experience and that they change their approach to fast charging with the oneplus 8t 5g the new warp charge 65 technology is going to continue to transform the way people think about charging so incredible news if you're a fan of fast charging is this is more than double the charging speed of its predecessor and it's able to charge the oneplus 8t 4 500 milliamp hour battery from zero to full in 39 minutes and from zero to 58 percent in just 15. we've also got a teaser from the oneplus nord instagram saying hashtag coming soon in this hints that there's going to be a nord device launching alongside the oneplus 8t we were told that more of these devices would be coming in future and this has been backed up by ishan aggarwal who's told us to expect a lot more at the oneplus 8t launch he's actually said that it's not just the oneplus 8t and there's going to be five additional devices he says we won't be able to guess what they are but of course one is going to be the nord and if you've got any idea about the others then let me know in the comments.
Personally i think we can expect something like buds bullet wireless and a laptop or tv now finally we've got a bit of a shock about the OnePlus 8T series and this has come direct from CEO pete lau himself as i've been telling you guys we weren't expecting to see a OnePlus 8T pro this year but many thought otherwise pete lowe's decided to completely squash these rumors via a weibo post that reads as follows there is no 8T pro this year users who like pro level products can continue to choose the oneplus 8 pro the annual machine king our plan for it is itself defined in a direction where there is no room for upgrade 8T hashtag a plus also surprise worth the wait so confirmation that there's going to be no pro but a surprise worth the wait now i won't waste any time guessing what that's going to be but given five devices coming to the launch it really could be anything also the confirmation of no pro does not mean that there isn't going to be an ultra but let's not even go down that road of thought with launch set for 14th of october though it's not long until we get the full confirmation from oneplus themselves but for those who want a detailed look.
OnePlus 8T full specs.
Now we're going to run through the full specs design and pricing for the OnePlus 8T now and we're going to get right into it the OnePlus 8T is a full screen smartphone looking very similar to its predecessor on the front we've got a 6.55 inch 120 hertz amoled display with a resolution of 2400 by 1080 giving us an 89 screen to body ratio and 402 pixels per inch the display offers a 20 by 9 aspect ratio supports HDR 10 plus and we're not confirmed by OnePlus we're expecting the use of gorilla glass 6.
The selfie camera is of course a punch or selfie camera in the top left of the display and they've chosen to go with a 32 megapixel sensor although the exact model is still unknown interestingly enough we can see they've opted for a flat display on the oneplus 8t which is going to be a welcomed addition for those of you that just don't get on with curved displays we've got a curved back glass panel on the back that leads to the rectangular camera module housing a cord camera setup and an led flash the oneplus 8t provides a 48 megapixel primary camera a 16 megapixel ultra wide a 5 megapixel macro and a 2 megapixel portrait it's got phase detect autofocus optical image stabilization and it can shoot 4k video at 60 frames a second.
The phone's going to be powered by the latest snapdragon 865 plus giving it performance and efficiency boost over its predecessor and it's going to come with 8 gigs of ram and 128 storage or for those that want a little bit more we get 12 gigs of ram and 256 storage with a whopping 4 500 milliamp hour battery the oneplus 8t is easily going to last a day when it comes to charging we've got a 65 watt warp charge using wires and a 30 watt charge wirelessly the oneplus 8t is shipping with oxygen os 11 based on android 11 and like all of the models before it they have taken steps to make the phone waterproof but there's no official ip rating the phone's expected to launch for 950 in october providing there are no further issues with the recent outbreak but when it comes to color choices we also have no info leaked of course as soon as we hear something i'll be updating you guys straight away but as always i'd like to know your thoughts in the comments who out there is waiting for the oneplus 8t and what do you think these five extra launch devices are but thanks for reading the article if you liked it please comment below. and also allow the notification button and hit the subscribe.
